- Chill the bowl and whisk attachment for 20 minutes in the refrigerator or 5 minutes in freezer. This will help the cream whip quickly and will increase its volume.
- Pour the heavy whipping cream into the bowl and whisk on medium-high speed until it just starts to thicken.
- Slow the speed down to medium and gradually pour in the sugar and vanilla essence, continue to whisk until soft peaks form.
- Your cream is done when it holds soft peak shapes.
Quick Tips:
- It makes two layered 9" cake.
- Make sure to chill bowl and whisk if you have time.
- Add flavor to whipped cream by adding extracts, liqueurs, or spices etc. just add them with the sugar in step.
- Always make whipped cream in advance, cool it in refrigerator and later use.
- Leftover whipped cream can be refrigerated covered for few days.
