Red Chili-Garlic Chutney





"Red chili-garlic chutney is a spicy, tangy and rich flavored preparation generally served with Momo or dumpling. This chutney can be served with Idli, Dosa, Paranthas or with chillas."

Ingredients

1.
Whole red chilies, soaked
8 pc

Garlic, cloves
8-10 pc
3.
Tomatoes, chopped
2 pc
4.
Ginger
1 inch

Oil
1 Tsp
6.
Cumin seeds
1 Tsp.
7.
Salt
1 Tsp.

  1. Soak whole red chili overnight or for 2-3 hours in warm water. 
  2. Grind all the ingredients except oil and cumin seeds to a smooth paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and when cumin starts sizzling add the chili garlic paste, simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve with immediately or store refrigerated. This chutney taste best when served with Momos or with many more Indian recipes.
