Boondi Raita























"Boondi Raita is very common Indian side dish served with Biryani, Pulao or any North Indian recipes.  Boondi are small crisp fried balls made with gram flour. Boondi Raita recipe is soaked Boondi in yogurt based thin consistency dip with flavorful dry spices. A very easy and mouth melting recipe made with very simple ingredients. You can use plain Boondi as well as Masala Boondi for this recipe."

Ingredients

1.
Besan boondi
½ Cup
2.
Curd/Yogurt
1 Cup
3.
Cumin powder
½ Tsp.
4.
Red chili powder
½ Tsp.
5.
Black salt
¼ Tsp.
6.
Sugar
1 Tsp.
7.
Salt
To taste
8.
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
2 tbsp.

  1. In a big bowl whip yogurt until smooth. Add water as required if yogurt is too thick.
  2. Add cumin powder, red chili powder, black salt, sugar and stir well. Adjust Dry spices as per your preferences. 
  3. Add Boondi and coriander leaves and mix well.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and dry spices. The Boondi raita is ready to serve. 
  5. This recipe can be served cold or at room temperature and go well with Indian Biryani, pulao or serve as a side dish.
