Rasmalai Cake




Rasmalai Cake- I have recently shared my version of Rasmalai recipe . Now sharing this delicious fusion dessert recipe to celebrate festivals or any other special occasions. Rasmalai cake is very much in trend now days, hope you will like my version. This cake is an irresistible combination of eggless cardamom sponge cake soaked with flavored thickened milk from Rasmalai also known as Ras, topped with saffron flavored whipped cream and garnished with nuts and rose petals. This cake has three components, cake, whipping cream and Rasmalai. You can make this cake in parts and prepare components beforehand or for quicker version you can use store bought cake, frosting and Rasmalai also. Vanilla Sponge Cake- This eggless vanilla sponge cake is soft and spongy. Sponge cakes are mostly prepared with just 3 things, eggs, flour and sugar. This eggless cake prepared using condense milk is equally soft, spongy and delicious. This cake is good start for beginner bakers as well as serve a perfect base cake recipe for various flavored frostings. I use this recipe as base recipe for many of my flavored cake like Chocolate cake, Chocolate Tutti Frutti cake, Christmas cake, Rasmalai cake and many more. Just follow few tips for baking and your cake will come out perfect. Firstly, always follow the measurements of the ingredients, this is really very important, secondly use your ingredients at room temperature like butter and milk' and lastly beat the batter as much as possible to incorporate air bubble which is key to make soft and spongy cake. Rasmalai


Rasmalai- Rasmalai is a very famous Indian dessert of Bengal origin. Rasmalai are soft, spongy cottage cheese/Paneer balls soaked in thickened flavored milk. This recipe is made in two parts, first is paneer balls also known as Rasgullaas and second one is saffron/cardamom flavored thickened milk. Garnish your Rasmalai with slivered sliced almonds and pistachio, saffron strand or dry rose flowers, and serve chilled. Rasmalai can be prepared beforehand and store refrigerated up to 5-7 days. For quicker version you can use store bought Rasgullaas also. Do give a try to my version of Rasmalai and Enjoy!!!
