Frankie Masala

FrankieMasala - Frankie masala is dry spice mix used in making Frankie Roll. This masalais combination of different spices, lightly roasted and grinded. Though this masala is easily available in almost of every city of India and so in everyIndian store abroad, but the freshness, the aroma, the taste, the texture is always missing. This homemade Frankie masala is so fresh and aromatic that youwill never regrets putting your efforts in. The leftover masala can be stored refrigerated into the airtight container for months. Give this spice mixa try, I am sure you are never going back for store bought packet. Enjoy!!!

Coriander seeds

2 Tbsp.


Cumin seeds

1 Tbsp.


Black pepper corn

10-12 pc


Turmeric powder

1 Tsp.


Kashmiri red chili powder

1 Tbsp.


Garam masala

1 Tsp.


Dry mango powder

1 Tbsp.


Anardana powder

1 Tbsp.



½ Tsp.

  1. In a pan lightly roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper corn on medium low heat.
  2. Now switch off the flames and add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala, dry mango powder, anardana powder and salt.
  3. Let everything cool down a bit and then grind it into a powder. Keep aside for further use.
  4. Use immediately or store refrigerated into the airtight container up to 6 months
